Today somebody told me that everytime they hear a certain song they think of me, they said they thought it could have been written for me.

I had never heard the song before, so I wasn't sure if they were being nice or not.

I just listened to it, and now I feel shiny. Thanks!!!!!!

Green Class

This class rocks my world on a daily basis. Well, Mondays - Fridays, anyway. Not sure if I'd give up a weekend for them. Anyway, they looove this song, so we sing it together everyday. Usually they dance all over the place while they sing, but on this particular day they were in trouble for fighting and calling each other bad names and committing other random acts of 5 year old debauchery in the classroom, so they weren't allowed to dance. They're awesome, right???

You know that old Ikea lamp commercial, with the lamp out in the rain all sad and lonely? That's how I'm picturing my phone. Especially tonight...it's so cold and snowy. :(

This morning on my little jaunt around Yaksu I put my iPod on random (man oh man I have some BAD songs on there!!) and that Counting Crows song came on...the one with the lyrics that say 'It's been so long since I've seen the ocean...guess I should...' and I nearly cried because, seriously, it's been soooo long since I've seen the ocean!!! I used to live at the beach (literally) and I always swore that I would never, ever live far away from the ocean. Might be time for a roadtrip.

Anyway, inspired by Brownie's extremely boring running posts, after my quick run - and by quick I mean short, I certainly don't mean to imply there was any speed involved - I hauled my ass up a rather large hill. 8 times. I won't be doing that again for awhile. Although it was kind of worth it to see the look on the locals' faces.
