Congrats to my dad, who retired yesterday after running his jewelry business for about 8000 years. I realized when I started this post that I don't have a picture of the 2 of us together. I'll have to fix that when I go home in March. Here he is with my older brother at the Yuengling Brewery, which I also plan to visit in March.

Last night I met up with Shelly and Joel at Geckos to have some drinks before going to meet everybody for dinner. Turns out Shelly, Joel, and I are a pretty fucking good time. Such a good time, in fact, that we ditched everyone for dinner and stayed at Geckos until closing time. At one point in the night a group of about 10 people came in, all wearing hawaiian shirts and stupid hats. I got excited, thinking they had to be hashers. Turns out they were just a bunch of weirdos, but they did let me steal their hats and shirts so it worked out OK. Late in the night there were some special guest appearances from the rest of the group, and since I was wearing sneakers Saejin and I snuck up to the bar on numerous occasions to do shots. One can only sneak when wearing sneakers, you know! Anyway, closing time is when I went home (alone) and everyone else headed to homo hill. Last night was a good time!!
