Deeper Shade Of Seoul

Ate-Ball got on a plane this morning and left Korea. I'm sad. I keep thinking about him, sitting on the plane, heading to the States for a completely different life. I wonder what he';s thinking about? No more military, no more Southside. Actually...I keep thinking about the person sitting next to him on the plane, having to endure 14 hours of his stories...HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Those of you who have the pleasure of knowing Ate-Ball know exactly what I'm saying!!
It's Childish, I Know...
...but I just can't seem to help myself. I have a new favorite game, and it only amuses me. Like many Koreans, Mic's last name is Park. And he has a Linkin Park cell phone charm (I know, I know...but musical taste is chapter 4 of the training manual. He's only at chapter 2). Anyway, I can't stop looking at it and saying, "Oh, are you related to him? Is Linkin your brother or something?" Then I laugh myself silly while he looks at me like I'm retarded. Lately I've been kind of a douche bag, and he's had to give me the "you're retarded" look so often I'm afraid his face is gonna freeze like that.I don't think I've ever been accused of being mature. Or funny.
In other news, there were 3 things coming up in my life that I was really looking forward to: Mudfest, Bali, and a trip to Tibet for Chuseok. Last week all of them fell through. How's that for a slap in the face from Karma? What the fuck did I do?
Mic and I saw Harry Potter last night and it was awesome! I can't wait for the new book!! Only a few more days!

When I take over my position as RULER OF EVERYTHING (btw, you'll all be referring to me as O Great Ruler of Everything. Jes is fine for now, though) I wonder which I'll make extinct first: mosquitoes or jellyfish...

ARGH
I'm no genius in Urban Planning or anything, but I'm thinking things would go ALOT FUCKING SMOOTHER if you waited until people got off the elevator before trying to shove your way on. I'm just sayin...09 7월 2007
Going through some pictures tonight and I came across this one. It's from my favorite morning (thus far) in Korea. I think back on that day so often, and it always makes me smile.
Awhile ago I went to this great restaurant with my buddy Chris. I forget the name of the place, it's in Itaewon somewhere. I couldn't figire out why they had a huge picture of Jesus. It definitely didn't go with the decor, but then I thought maybe because it's a wine bar? Anyway, the dude just hung out on the wall and watched me eat the entire time. It was kind of rude.
