Do you eat them while they wriggle like that?
SJ stole my question!
Um...I have a doctor's note that prevents me from eating slimy things that are still ALIVE.
Blah..maybe if i were there and drunk on Soju(sp?)
There goes the aphodisiac myth. Look closer.
Alive or dead ... I'm not into eating the "filter of the sea"
Looks like pussy
That's a $100 of abalone in California. What did the whole dish cost there ?
I take it that you did it eat after all. Probably more "ethical" than eating beef etc.
oops, shouild be "eat it" (sort of dysleixc mistaek)
It didn't taste so awesome..kinda of no taste actually. It was cool to watch it all cook infront of us though!
I thought it was yummy!! And the octopus was delicious (once it finally died!!!).
tg...not sure what the total cost was cause we traded half a bottle of vodka to the guy at the table next to us in exchange for him paying our tab!! HA HA!! We're guessing the meal, rice, beer, and sodas were around $100.
I thought the abalone was tasty enough - but it mostly tasted of the spicy broth. The octopus was definitely the best part though!
