See You In March Beaks!!!

Think there's a record for the amount of going away parties/dinners one person has had? Last night really was Beaker's last night, but most of us were already sick of saying goodbye to him since we've been having going away dinners and parties with him for weeks now. But since we love him so much we got together for the last time to have dinner and a few drinks. Then we went back to his totally empty apartment and had a few more drinks, and Shells and RL left a few surprises for the girl who'll be moving into his place. HA!
This morning I went with him to the bus terminal - not because I really care, I just wanted to make sure he was actually leaving!! :) For someone who does an awful lot of leaving you would think I'd be better at good-byes. I totally suck and never have any idea what to say. Oh well...I'm sure by now he knows better than to expect anything profound from me.
So now he's all by himself in Hong Kong, hopefully having a drink of whatever it is they drink there while enjoying the books I picked out for his trip! Though it's much more likely that he tossed the books at the airport and is currently dressed in women's clothing with a 5 o'clock shadow lying face down in a gutter somewhere...
