Are You Superstitious????
I can be a bit superstitious, as you can probably guess from the previous post. Here in Seoul they often sell umbrellas on the subway, especially during monsoon, and everytime I'm on the train and the vendors open an umbrella I freak out a little on the inside. I also don't walk under ladders. Today, while reading about the history of Friday the 13th I found this under the heading "Prominent Democrats Born 9 Months After Roswell." You may recall that this was actually brought up during Al Gore's run for presidency. Think it's true??? I thought President Clinton's birthday was in August, but maybe that's just part of the cover up...Many will recall that on July 8, 1947, witnesses claim an unidentified Object with five aliens aboard crashed on a sheep and cattle ranch just outside Roswell, New Mexico. This is a well known incident that many say has long been covered up by The US Air Force and the federal government. However, you may well NOT know that in the month of March 1948, exactly Nine months after that historic day, Albert Arnold Gore, Jr.; Hillary Rodham; John F. Kerry; William Jefferson Clinton; Howard Dean; Nancy Pelosi; Dianne Feinstein; Charles E. Schumer; and Barbara Boxer were Born.
Superstitious or not, be careful today! You never know...

So, you're saying the aliens were not an advanced race? You must see the movie "MARS Attacks".

Democrat aliens. Republican aliens. I don't see the difference. Politicians are the same everywhere!

Thirteen is a female number. Friday is a feminine day. It is named after Freya, a Norse Goddess who roughly equates with Aphrodite in Greek mythology and Venus in Latin legend. Clearly, the convergence of these two powerful symbols was too much for our male chauvinist ancestors who felt obliged to associate Friday the 13th with random misfortune and witchcraft.
The birthday thing is bogus. They were born all spread out between 1943 and 1948. Nuthin' to it. Or, any superstitions at that.
